On May 1st 2026, workers across the country are committing to no work, no school, and no shopping—a day of general strike to fight back against ICE terror, endless war, and the billionaire agenda—to remind the ruling class that without us, the workers, everything grinds to a halt.

CALL FOR WORKER SOLIDARITY: TAKE TO THE STREETS TO OPPOSE INCREASING ATTACKS ON THE WORKING CLASS!

The Eugene school district will be joining this national trend laying off 270 educators and staff, providing notices on the day meant to champion workers fighting for a better life.

Join effected staff and other laid off workers in marching to the 4J district office to let them know we mean to protect our schools and support our educators!

Join us afterwards in the Owen Rose Garden for a potluck from 6:00-8:00 pm! Supported by Eugene HAND West Jeff/Whitaker Neighborhood Local ❤️
